"While preparing my previous mix for Counterflux Series, as a split with Mr Tony Katana / Tony Kashmere ("Amalgamate" - CFS 005), I ended up with a huge pile of records, but couldn't play them all as I had to do a short set to fit the CD-R format. I thought I may keep them aside anyway to record a longer set later. And here we are after a lot of toying and tracklist changes. I also added some more recent acquisitions that fit the kind of stuff I had in mind back then. I'm very slow at recording set because I'm never satisfied with my mixing. And this set is no exception as it contains a few mismatched and hectic transitions. Hope you will forgive me! But the overall result, as an atmosphere, is exactly where I wanted to go, with a lot a varied styles throughout the set. That's what I love the most about Djing : blending (or trying to, ha ha!) tracks from various genres and periods and not sticking with recent stuff only. It's a 100% vinyl mix, recorded in this hot afternoon of june 26. There may be a Part 2 one day. Not sure yet, as I'm far from sold with it at the moment..."
