There was this urge to do something different something that breaks away from what I’ve been doing lately.
I found myself drawn to a few sets on NTS Radio, and thought: why not embrace the imperfections? Let things unfold as they come. Keep it raw, almost untouched far from anything overly polished or technically pristine.
At some point, I also wanted to bring in three decks, weaving in a subtle salsa inspired conga pattern something rhythmic but instinctive, more felt than calculated.
The idea was to build a space that feels dark, yet tender at the same time. Something that pulls you in, loops around you, and keeps you there.
I genuinely loved the process
I enjoyed every moment of putting it together. And that last track… it completely gets me.
I wanted it to sit somewhere between movement and introspection. Something you can dance to, but also truly listen to. A set that could follow you into the shower, sit quietly in the background, and then carry you through as you head out for a glass of wine with friends. That was the intention."
